We are seeking dedicated support workers to provide assistance to our valued participants in the Mt Druitt, Penrith, Blacktown, and Hawkesbury area.
This role involves assisting individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and social interactions. You will be part of a supportive team that values cultural understanding and connection to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Engage in social activities, such as outings, games, and group discussions, to promote participant engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of participant interactions, progress, and any concerns.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a clear Criminal History Check
- Relevant NDIS worker screening is essential
- Strong English speaking and literacy skills are required for effective communication with participants
- Previous experience working with vulnerable populations is highly regarded
