Job Description

A Library Program Manager is required to join our school community, working in a dynamic library environment with a focus on inspiring a passion for reading and nurturing a culture of learning.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan and refine the Year 6 reading and research program, collaborating closely with students and staff to deliver engaging and effective literacy development and research skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Development: Assist with the Year 6 Library Program, guiding students in literacy development and research skills through innovative and creative approaches.
  2. Resource Management: Curate and maintain an engaging library collection that supports the curriculum and student interests, ensuring it remains relevant and appealing to students.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom learning, promoting seamless communication and mutual support.
  4. Event Organization: Organize events and activities to promote reading and encourage a lifelong love of books, fostering a sense of community and shared enthusiasm.
  5. Student Support: Provide support and guidance to students in independent learning and information-seeking skills, empowering them to become confident and self-sufficient learners.
