Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Town Planner

As a highly skilled and experienced professional, the successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a keen interest in statutory and strategic planning processes.

  • Prepare planning approvals and statutory submissions with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Mentor junior planners to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Conduct research and analysis on planning legislation and schemes

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recently completed or near-completed tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning
  • At least 3 years of industry experience and expertise
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A deep understanding of statutory and strategic planning processes
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work across multiple projects
  • Familiarity with WA planning frameworks is an advantage
  • High attention to detail and robust research capabilities
