Strategic Finance Transformation Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, curious and enthusiastic individual to join our finance transformation team. As a natural collaborator, you will work closely with the finance lead to partner with business, data and technology teams on key transformation and technology initiatives.

The role involves playing a pivotal part in brainstorming and refining solutions and driving outcomes across various finance initiatives. You will work with a high-calibre team to deliver results, offering significant personal and professional development opportunities with high visibility and support from senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management: responsible for requirements gathering, design support, build, testing and implementation of proposed development changes with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and flagging issues/gaps.
  • Finance impact assessments: utilise your background in finance to identify downstream impacts of key initiatives on the wider finance team and enable sign-off on changes through demonstrations & workshops.
  • Requirements gathering & analysis: gather and communicate finance, tax and regulatory reporting requirements for consultation with business and technology teams.

To be successful in the role, you will bring demonstrated experience in finance and a passion for change. You will be motivated to drive outcomes that improve the day-to-day work of finance teams and their stakeholders.
