Site Development Lead

As a leading infrastructure service provider in Australasia, Ventia is expanding its Capital Works team to deliver design and construction projects for Renewables and Energy Transmission.
This key role will lead project teams, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meeting Health, Safety, Efficiency, and Quality objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for site management, ensuring compliance with statutory standards, company policies, and client procedures.
The person will oversee the development, coordination, and execution of works, driving maximum efficiency to meet project requirements. They will also build and promote a positive Health and Safety culture and incorporate company values into team development and performance.
About the ProjectThe Boulder Creek Wind Farm is a 372 MW onshore wind farm located in central Queensland, comprising 60 wind turbines. Ventia will work as the Principle Contractor DTI for the Design, Planning, and Construction of a 275/33kv Substation and 7km of 275kv transmission line.
Responsibilities Include:- Developing and coordinating the operation of the project to achieve maximum efficiency and meet project budget and client requirements.
- Building and promoting a positive Health and Safety culture in the workplace.
- Driving company values and ensuring their incorporation into team development and performance.
- Overseeing site management, including tendering, development, construction, financial, safety, and quality issues.
- Participating in contract Partnering arrangements that address client and company requirements.

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Experience in Renewable Energy projects or Substation construction or expansion.
- Extensive experience in planning, setting up, and executing works.
- Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of client policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- A current Driver's Licence.
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $140,000-$170,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
