We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Employment Consultant to join our team. As an Employment Consultant, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of job seekers and help them build futures.
- Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers
- Support our participants to identify skills to become job ready
- Deliver quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
- Enhance participants employability through training and support service referrals
- Develop personalised job plans for clear employment pathways
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
To succeed in this role, you will need to be driven, solution-focused, and have a can-do approach. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate composure and adaptability through the day-to-day challenges of the role.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- A MyGovID (Standard level)
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
