
Human Resources Leader

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner role is a key position within our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality strategic and operational HR support.
This role will work closely with executives, senior leaders, and line managers to provide expert advice on HR matters, ensuring that the organization's workforce strategy is aligned with its business objectives.
Key responsibilities include navigating complex industrial relations, leading workplace investigations, partnering with leaders on organizational change initiatives, driving diversity and inclusion strategies, coaching and mentoring leaders, and supporting workforce design and capability development.
- Navigating Industrial Relations: Interpret awards, engage with unions and employee associations, and resolve issues in a collaborative manner.
- Leading Workplace Investigations: Ensure fairness, care for employees, and affirm organizational standards through complex workplace investigations, performance matters, and case management.
- Partnering on Organizational Change: Plan and implement change initiatives that enhance culture, engagement, and workforce adaptability.
- Diversity and Inclusion Strategies: Provide practical advice to embed cultural respect and equitable employment practices across all teams.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Strengthen people leadership capabilities, resolve workplace issues, and uplift team performance through coaching and mentoring leaders.
Applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or Business, or significant experience in HR generalist roles with exposure to industrial relations and union engagement.
Desirable skills and qualifications include demonstrated experience in workplace investigations, misconduct management, and performance improvement, as well as proven capability in organizational change management and workforce planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are also essential for this role.
