Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Position

A Heavy Vehicle Mechanic position has arisen to work in a modern maintenance facility.

Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, this role requires a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.

  • Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble fleet vehicles while ensuring safety, quality, and industry standards are met.
  • Maintain company vehicles and assets according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to established procedures.
  • Attend breakdowns and perform field-related mechanical repairs.
  • Effectively communicate any safety or maintenance issues.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience in vehicle service and maintenance, with training provided to develop these skills.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and policies.
  • Possess sound verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance schedules.
  • Be proactive and adaptable in a dynamic team.
  • Be passionate about achieving outcomes.
  • Hold a MR or HR driver's licence (preferred).
