Maintenance Technician Job Overview

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance? Do you have a strong background in trade qualifications and solid communication skills? We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our new customer site in Tamworth, NSW.

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work closely with our engineering team to resolve technical issues and implement solutions. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in this role.

You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders. Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, automation, and Maximo CMMS is desirable but not essential (we will provide training).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Trade Qualification - Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
  • Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Australia)
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience
  • Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, automation, or Maximo CMMS is desirable but not essential (we will provide training)
