OverviewAn opportunity exists for a skilled and adaptable professional to fill the fulltime role of Operations Manager at our foodservice branch located in Dubbo.About the Role:Reporting to the Branch Manager, this senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehousing and distribution operations within the branch, including monitoring expenses related to transport, equipment and the warehouse.
This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.DutiesControl transport, equipment and warehouse expenses including rosters and wagesPromote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered toMaintain all vehicle and equipment service and maintenance schedulesCoach, mentor and execute performance management as requiredConduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systemsGenerate, analyse and maintain reportsSkills and ExperienceA current forklift licence (essential)Excellent communication, organisation and managerial skillsAbility to work under pressure and as part of a diverse teamComputer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systemsAble to provide leadership and motivation to a team of up to 30 workersApplicants may be subject to a pre-employment medicalAbout Bidfood DubboBidfood Dubbo is at the centre of foodservice across inland NSW.
