Job Opportunity for Support Workers
A compassionate and reliable support worker is sought to provide personal care and hygiene assistance to a teenage boy with cerebral palsy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support in daily activities
- Assist the individual in their home and community settings
- Develop and implement behavior support strategies
- Foster a positive and consistent relationship with the participant
About You:
- You have a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
- Must be reliable and committed to ongoing shifts
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably children or teens
- Confident in providing personal care and handling emergency situations
- Calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- You have relevant qualifications, NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Modules, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR certification, driver's license, and comprehensive car insurance
