Support Worker for a Young Man with Cerebral Palsy

Position Overview:
\EntitiesWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide personal care, domestic support and community access to a young man with cerebral palsy in Glen Waverley. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our client with daily living tasks, such as showering, dressing and feeding, as well as providing transportation and social support.
\EntitiesKey Responsibilities:
\Entities- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
- Assisting with meal preparation and cooking
- Transporting our client to various locations
- Providing social support and companionship
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our client
Requirements:
\EntitiesTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have intermediate cooking and food-handling skills, as well as a current police clearance and NDIS worker check.

You will also need to reside in the Glen Waverley area and be willing to undergo a police clearance and NDIS worker check at the time of recruitment.
