Job Title

We are seeking a Caregiver for Weekend Getaways to provide personal care, domestic support and community access to a young independent male with Cerebral Palsy in Glen Waverley.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with showering, dressing, lifting, feeding and other caregiving duties. They will also be required to transport the client to various locations, including festivals, bands, clubs and other events.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have a fun, caring personality with a positive attitude
  • Must be dedicated, reliable and have a sense of professionalism
  • Must have intermediate cooking and food-handling skills
  • Must speak and understand excellent English and be an Australian resident
  • Current Police Clearance or willingness to undergo at the time of recruitment
  • NDIS Worker Check or willingness to undergo at the time of recruitment
Benefits

Wages are paid fortnightly and are above award + weekend penalty rates. The role offers flexible hours, short shifts and the possibility of weekend getaways.
