Technical Writer Opportunity

About the Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Writer/Author to join our program on a permanent full-time basis. You'll work across all aspects of technical publications, driving innovative authoring and writing solutions.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes authors, illustrators, and multi-media experts. Together, you'll achieve project goals while ensuring all requirements, including safety and regulatory requirements, are met.

  • Produce technical publications that meet project requirements
  • Undertake technical writing requirements and participate in system design and requirement reviews
  • Develop technical documentation according to relevant standards
  • Contribute towards continuous development activities and project engineering policies and strategies
  • Manage and provide guidance to peers when required
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Diploma or formal qualification in Technical Writing or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Technical Writing/Authoring
  • Effective communication skills at various levels of stakeholders
  • Proficient with using authoring software tools and MS applications
  • Understanding of S1000D (desirable)
  • Experience in producing maritime technical publications (desirable)
