Job Summary

Event Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a proven track record in managing events.

About the Role
  • Plan, coordinate and execute conferences, meetings, weddings and other special events.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Services Manager and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of events.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with our values.
  • Provide additional support to the Food & Beverage department across various outlets.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong understanding of event operations and management principles.
  • Previous leadership experience in hospitality and/or events with a focus on guest service and team engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills and high standard of personal presentation.
  • Computer literate with strong administration skills and experience with MICROS or Simphony POS applications is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Currently hold or be willing and able to obtain RSA and RMLV certificates.
  • Unlimited work rights in Australia.
