Key Responsibilities- Animal Care and Husbandry
- Feed, clean, and maintain the health and well-being of our animals
- Assist with veterinary procedures and animal handling
- Enclosure and Exhibit Maintenance
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of animal enclosures and exhibits
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the well-being of our animals
- Administrative and Record-Keeping Duties
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and veterinary procedures
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
- Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- Completion of the Captive Animal Management Course (desirable)
- Experience
- Extensive experience working with Australian native fauna
- Previous veterinary nursing experience
- Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with working hours and willingness to work weekends
