About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at dnata catering. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in planning and directing food preparation in our kitchen, ensuring that our high-quality culinary items are consistently delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and production plans to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labour, and inventory to achieve budget targets.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Trade-qualified Chef with at least 2 years' experience in a high-volume food production environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of HACCP, QSAI, and food safety principles.
  • Prior experience in a team environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Good financial understanding and cost-consciousness.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
