Digital Storyteller - Sports Producer

We are seeking a talented Digital Storyteller to produce high-quality video content across multiple digital platforms. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging storytelling concepts, producing quality journalism and creating video content that resonates with audiences.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a range of sporting codes including NRL, AFL, Cricket, and Netball, and to be instrumental in shaping the tone for sports video across multiple distribution platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality, bespoke video content across all digital platforms to differentiate us from competing news outlets.
  • Formulate, write, voice, present, edit, film, and publish material for digital distribution across multiple platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure video content is well-promoted and displayed across all digital and social platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with non-linear video editing and production systems.
  • Strong voiceover delivery and script-writing skills.
  • An understanding of digital content delivery and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of video editing techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge and passion for Australian (particularly NRL, AFL, Cricket, Netball) and international sports.
