**Job Description**:
9Podcasts is a team of talented content creators, who lean into the power of the conversation to create original, premium podcasts that inspire, inform, and entertain. 9Podcasts is a division of the Nine Radio department, but we work with the diverse brands and talent across the wider Nine Network to evangelise podcasts as a core pillar of their content strategy.

The Video Producer will be based in our Sydney office and will be responsible for producing and editing filmed podcast, social cutdowns and highlights to distribute this content broadly across Nine's assets and social media platforms. You will create video packages, graphics and highlights and be responsible for delivering high quality content to the platforms quickly and effectively. This role would best suit a producer in the early stages of their career looking to take the next step in their development. The successful applicant will have a passion for podcasts, a keen eye for detail and be comfortable on video editing tools.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Day to day you will:

- Producing content in studio, collaborating with podcast producers, hosts and guests
- Sourcing vision, creating and publishing podcast highlights
- Creating graphics, both for video packages and social media
- Be across the news cycle and have a good nose for a story
- Generating story and segment ideas
- Sharing content to Nine platforms and social media

**Qualifications**:
You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. You'll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly. You will have the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects to meet deadlines. You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way, allowing you to build strong relationships.

Essential experience and skills:

- Demonstrated video production skills, and proven ability to distribute this content effectively to all digital platforms
- Experience in broadcast or digital video production, broadcast production, social media or relevant publishing experience
- Strong understanding of social media content, trends and platforms
- Demonstrated writing skills, with proven ability to produce clear compelling copy
- A passion for podcasts and audio
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Premiere and Avid.
