Your Future RoleAs a Project Contract Manager at Alstom, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of contract management strategies for our projects. You will work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identify opportunities for risk mitigation and claim preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement contract management strategies in alignment with Alstom's business objectives.
- Collaborate with the project team to prepare the Contract Management Strategy Plan.
- Analyze contracts to build and drive the implementation of contract and claims management strategies.
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with contract obligations and track project schedules to meet contractual milestones.
- Issue contractual notices to customers and partners in a timely manner.
- Establish and implement project-specific commercial procedures.
- Monitor and manage correspondence with customers and partners.
- Develop and produce project-specific processes and methods for contract and claim management.
- Anticipate events and risks associated with contract management activities and propose alternative solutions.
- Develop a pragmatic commercial approach to protect Alstom's interests with customers and partners.
- Tertiary degree in Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Extensive experience in contract and claims management in the delivery of railway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems.
- Capability to be operationally effective and accountable.
