Senior Design Technologist

The role of Senior Design Technologist is to lead the delivery of high-quality documentation packages on large projects.

You will need to be a self-starter who enjoys working in a team but can work with little supervision and has the ability to lead the delivery of documentation packages on large projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed technical documents to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction detailing and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain Revit standards and project management systems.
  • Understand all aspects of a project, the project team, and project delivery method.
  • Undertake on-site work to a high degree of accuracy as required.
  • Understand the construction method of the project being documented.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve Revit skills and knowledge.
About You

For this position, we are looking for an experienced and driven individual who wants to contribute to the development of our documentation standards and design technology.

As we have been using Revit for over 10 years, you will need to have strong knowledge of Revit and be able to produce thorough and considered documents within quick timeframes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience using Revit on large-scale projects.
  • Extensive experience in construction detailing of commercial or education projects will be highly regarded.
  • Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with team members.
  • Continuous improvement approach in both your work and your contribution to the greater development of staff, processes, and standards in the company.
