This challenging role involves leading the fire engineering input on complex projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated designs that meet our clients’ needs.

The Opportunity

  • Lead all types of fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the fire engineering business and related areas.
  • Prepare, oversee, and review project reports for clients summarizing key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes under supervision.
  • You will represent Arup at internal and external meetings, including leading approvals negotiations, and be a competent communicator.
  • Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing particular expertise on fire engineering as appropriate.

About You

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering, specialising in Fire Engineering or a similar area.
  • Fully aware of all legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Chartered and Registered with a relevant engineering authority body.
  • Relevant industry experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting business environment.
  • Prior experience in laboratories, data centres, infrastructure, warehouses, etc.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $140,000 to $200,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including:
