Your role:

  • Coordinate import shipments into Australia and New Zealand, collaborating with planning and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track inbound shipments and update ANZ business teams on status, updating internal systems as necessary.
  • Manage freight forwarders and shipping lines with the Global Strategic Sourcing team to optimize costs and performance.
  • Set and track KPI targets for on-time delivery, shipment cost, cost savings, and lead time, developing action plans to improve these metrics.
  • Support projects requiring ocean or air transport, providing shipment status and updates in relevant meetings.
  • Oversee customs, duties, Free Trade Agreement, and regulatory requirements for imports to Australia and New Zealand, working with the Global Trade Compliance team.
  • Assess and develop action plans to enhance ANZ import/export processes.
  • Collaborate with Global Trade Compliance as an SME for International transport in the ASIA/ANZ region.
