Therapist Opportunity in Residential Aged Care

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to older individuals in residential aged care settings.

  • As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized therapy programs that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans, and providing evidence-based interventions to support residents' goals.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. As a Therapist in Residential Aged Care, you will have the chance to:

  • Work across a range of clinical areas, including mobility and functional assessments, restorative therapy, falls prevention, pressure care, pain management, and active ageing group programs.
  • Collaborate with care staff to develop resident-centred plans that prioritize their needs and preferences.
  • Deliver one-on-one reablement therapy that focuses on restoring independence and promoting quality of life.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A strong passion for reablement and restoring independence in the lives of older people.
  • Australian working rights.
  • The ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening and a National Police Check.
  • A driver's license and willingness to travel within a dedicated region.
