Job Title

The role of a Production Supervisor is to lead from the floor, enabling teams to produce quality fabricated and assembled products safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of tradespersons, trades assistants, and leading hands to achieve production goals in quality, cost, and delivery. This involves developing and implementing systems to monitor productivity, analyse KPIs, and resolve production challenges proactively.

Success in this position requires coordination of dispatch and deliveries, support for workshop planning, and contribution to accurate stock and inventory management through systems like Epicor. The supervisor will also ensure maintenance needs are proactively planned with internal and external providers, minimising downtime and extending equipment reliability.

A key requirement is a trade qualification in an Engineering discipline and/or post-secondary qualifications in business or management, as well as experience supervising medium-sized teams in a workshop or manufacturing environment.

  • Lead a team of tradespersons and trades assistants to achieve production goals in quality, cost, and delivery.
