Job Description

The role of Presales Solutions Consultant is pivotal to our organization's success, requiring a collaborative approach with the global presales team to navigate technical and architectural aspects of the sales cycle.

  • We are seeking an experienced individual to partner with our Sales team, driving sales opportunities forward from a technology and solution fit perspective.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding customer and prospect requirements, challenges, and pain-points through consultative discovery engagements, meetings, and workshops.
  • This role involves proposing, pitching, presenting, and demonstrating solution options and associated value propositions from our product portfolio, platform capability, and technology partner ecosystem.
  • Responsibilities also include responding to key technical and solution deliverables of the sales cycle, including RFPs, RFIs, and cloud/security/compliance questionnaires.
  • The consultant will support customer and prospect evaluation processes via establishing, executing, and supporting solution trials and proof-of-concepts.
  • We require the selected candidate to engage with presales counterparts at our partners to keep our ecosystem abreast of latest capability, solutions, and innovation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders at customers/prospects is essential to ensure technical and solution fit.
  • This position also entails attending and demonstrating our solutions at field events, such as conferences and trade shows.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous presales experience in a technology, software, or SaaS/cloud company.
  • A track record of partnering with sales teams to deliver impactful product demos, solution designs, and RFP responses.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical features into compelling business value.
  • A genuine hunger for learning new skills, concepts, and technologies and applying that knowledge to solve business problems with innovative solutions.
  • A strong grasp of SaaS architecture and integration, enabling consultative conversations with both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Broad technical background in areas such as M365, Azure, AI, coding/scripting, databases, operating system administration, integration, workflow, enterprise software configuration and deployment, etc.
