The role of a Senior Structural/Civil Engineer is crucial in driving the company's consulting functions forward through technical design and communication.
This senior position is responsible for supervising other Structural/Civil Engineers in the execution and communication of design and other consultation services.
To be successful, you will need:
- Registration with relevant professional associations as a Professional Engineer grade Member.
- Compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Essential experience and skills include:
- Mentoring professional teams with demonstrable experience.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- A minimum of three years in a similar role, with significant experience in structural and civil engineering.
- Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information to improve existing practices or develop new approaches.
- Skilled in developing and implementing processes, policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and mentor employees to carry out tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage work, determine priorities and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
