Healthcare Professional Opportunity

We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

The NT Remote Locum Program is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities.

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a culturally sensitive environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in cultural orientation and 24/7 support to ensure a smooth transition into remote healthcare

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months
  • Current BLS/CPR certificate
  • Current recognised Immunisation certificate
  • Current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card or willingness to obtain
