Incident Response Lead

This is a leadership role that oversees the response to critical communications incidents. The goal is to ensure efficient and effective resolution, working closely with various teams to develop and implement incident response plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the nature of the incident and determine required resources to resolve it.
  • Provide timely communication of incidents to stakeholders and facilitate incident debriefs and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain awareness of current threats and vulnerabilities, continuously collaborating with customers to improve the incident response process.
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues to senior management and coordinate all efforts to contain and resolve the incident.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing incidents in a critical communications environment.
  • Strong organization, tracking, follow-up, and analytical skills to collect, access, and report factual data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to accommodate changing priorities and directions.
  • Self-starter who can effectively manage multiple projects/action items and function with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship skills to communicate confidently and effectively with both customers and senior management.
  • ITIL Foundation certification and experience using ServiceNow preferred.
