Support Worker Job Description

Our team is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate support worker to provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals. As a support worker, you will be assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management within their home.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, including assistance with incontinence and changing aids
  • Manage medications and provide manual handling and mobility support
  • Prepare meals and assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide community access and social support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in disability support
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
  • Current paid employee Blue Card
  • Current paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willingness to obtain before employment)
  • Full Australian working rights
