Financial Services Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of financial services, reporting to the Finance Manager.
  • Handle various functions including rates, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Provide administrative support across the organisation.
  • Maintain compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, Local Government financial obligations, and relevant agreements.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of Council's financial systems and processes as a key member of the Finance team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of financial services and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Local Government financial regulations.
