About the Opportunity
This is an excellent chance to work in a supportive and dynamic team that provides health services to clients in the Katherine West Region of the Northern Territory.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal cultural values, and a commitment to the advancement and self-determination of Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and delivery of health promotion materials that align with our organisational strategy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, particularly Aboriginal Health Practitioners and Community Engagement Workers, to deliver health promotion activities through community events and quality improvement exercises.
- Design and implement effective health promotion strategies using social media platforms, iPads, and other health resources to enhance the health literacy of our clients.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and the Primary Health Care team to implement health promotion activities as outlined in our health promotion plan.
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the dissemination of health promotion information.
- A deep understanding of Aboriginal cultural values and practices.
- A commitment to promoting the advancement and self-determination of Aboriginal communities.
We are an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that provides a range of clinical, preventative, and public health services to clients in the Katherine West Region.
