About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Leisure Marketing Initiatives to lead our Leisure Marketing team in driving awareness, engagement, and activation amongst existing and potential RACV Members and customers across four portfolios.

This is a key role that will be part of our Marketing Operations team and work closely with the General Manager Brand & Marketing.

The successful candidate will have extensive stakeholder management experience, strong leadership skills, and be able to navigate through the organisation effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the strategic marketing plan across the Leisure portfolio, including Member Benefits.
  • Develop and refine values-based propositions across this portfolio to ensure benchmarks / targets are continually met and challenged.
  • Liaise, negotiate and influence senior managers in the development and delivery of business and marketing plans.
  • Ensure correct and timely input of requirements into broader Marketing teams to support the strategy of the business.
  • Role model leadership behaviours and coaching and be accountable for individual development and performance management of the team.

Requirements

  • 10 + years strategic marketing experience in business to consumer discipline with significant travel and/or Hospitality and Retail sector experience.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategy, which governs multiple streams of delivery.
  • Extensive strategic marketing experience, including a proven quantitative ability.
  • Proven experience in leading high performing teams in dynamic environments and delivering positive business outcomes.
  • Strong presentation, communication and written skills.
