Technology Audit Lead

Foster a culture of excellence as a Technology Audit Lead, driving the delivery of high-quality audit services that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit to develop and implement audit plans that align with business objectives.
  • Lead comprehensive audits, leveraging expertise in technology and information security controls to provide management with an independent appraisal of the control environment.
  • Analyze and assess the effectiveness of management of security risks, including risks within cloud-based environments and technology ecosystems.
  • Assess the design and implementation of information security policies and control standards, including cybersecurity threat management and identity and access management.
  • Engage with auditees to ensure a thorough understanding of audit expectations and facilitate the resolution of issues.
  • Deliver high-quality reports that are concise, easy to read, and commercial, in a timely manner.
  • Review and determine compliance with established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, focusing on information and cybersecurity.
  • Align Internal Audit processes, risk, and control activities with business strategies through process-oriented thinking and end-to-end view capabilities.

Ideal Background:

  • Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, or Technology-related fields; CA or CPA qualification (or overseas equivalent); CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC certifications are highly desirable.
  • 5-8 years of experience in audit or IT risk/security management in the financial services industry.
  • Good knowledge of technology, information security, and cloud computing risks and controls.
  • Understanding of technology industry standards (ISO) and regulatory guidance such as Information Security, Data Management, and Australian Privacy Principles.
  • Technical experience in IT networks, servers, and infrastructure (active directory, authentication services, Identity and Access Management desirable).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
