Technology Risk Expert with IT Auditing Focus

At KPMG, our team is dedicated to supporting the evaluation of our clients' IT control environment through a diverse and dedicated group of people.

As a Senior Consultant in our IT Audit team, you will play a key role in delivering technology risk assurance and advisory projects, including internal audit, external audit, attestation, and first & second line technology risk advisory.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of risk and controls, who can evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of IT controls on core business processes. If you have excellent analytical and technical communication skills, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and coaching team members, providing stretch assignments to advance their capability.
  • Providing technical knowledge, direction, and training to engagement team members.
  • Supporting engagement managers in the overall project management of engagements as well as the preparation of clear and concise reports to IT management and CIOs.

About You

  • You have a detailed understanding of risk and controls, gained from experience in external/internal audit and/or risk, ideally with a professional services firm.
  • You have strong technology risk and controls knowledge, with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of clients and internal stakeholders.
  • You are able to digest, distil, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you will be supported to use your initiative to work through competing priorities.
