About the Role

As an experienced Senior Auditor, you will have the opportunity to lead financial controls assurance programs across key financial processes and cycles in a complex environment. Our Internal Audit team is known for its flexibility and dynamic approach, offering the chance to work from anywhere in Australia with options to work from home or based at our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement financial controls assurance programs to assess Woolworths Group's financial controls
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on strategy development and delivery, ensuring audit recommendations are balanced, sustainable, and risk-based
  • Evaluate governance, risk, and control frameworks across the organisation, providing expert advice to support business growth and improvement
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, including 'Big' 4 firms
  • Extensive knowledge of designing, implementing, and executing financial controls assurance programs in a complex environment similar to Woolworths
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and resilience in challenging situations
