Young People Transition Support Specialist

This is a full-time permanent opportunity to support young people as they transition into independence. We are seeking an experienced Coach who can bring optimism, creativity and unwavering belief in the potential of our clients.
About the Role- Meet contract requirements, upholding ethical and professional standards.
- Contribute to practice improvements in Aftercare, promoting high standards of service delivery.
- Foster a culture that values young people's autonomy and self-determination.
- Provide advocacy, mentoring and practical support based on trauma-informed care principles.
- Build trusting, respectful partnerships with young people, recognising their strengths and highlighting future possibilities.
- Facilitate access to entitlements and assistance such as allowances and personal files.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with young people and relevant tertiary qualifications in social science or equivalent.
- Current NSW driver's licence and NSW WWCC.
- Starting annual salary $82,622 - $90,226 negotiable based on experience, plus super.
