The Role of a Senior Project Scheduler in Delivering Renewable Energy Projects

Job Description:

This senior leadership position plays a critical role in the successful delivery of one of Australia's largest renewable energy projects.

The Lead Scheduler will be responsible for managing and leading a team of schedulers, creating and developing a comprehensive baseline schedule in Primavera P6, overseeing resource and cost loading, tracking site execution progress, and providing senior-level oversight on key milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of project schedulers to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive baseline schedule using Primavera P6.
  • Oversee resource allocation, cost management, and progress tracking.
  • Assess subcontractor progress reports to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

To succeed as a Senior Project Scheduler, you must have:

  • A degree qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience working on major energy, O&G, or power generation projects.
  • Strong project management skills, expertise in Primavera P6, Power BI, and SAP, and excellent client-facing abilities.
