We are seeking an accomplished Hepatology Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This esteemed professional will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive care to patients suffering from Hepatitis infection, advanced liver disease and other hepatology disease processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of policy, guiding practice, and engaging in education and research activities. They will also provide clinical supervision to nursing staff and serve as a role model, exemplifying excellence in nursing practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, manage, educate and monitor patients with Hepatitis infection, advanced liver disease and other hepatology disease processes
  • Provide expert guidance, advice and recommendations on all aspects of nursing and consult on matters relating to the safe and appropriate use of nursing practices
  • Develop and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities
  • Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff and act as a role model, demonstrating exceptional nursing practice
Requirements
  • Certified nurse with authority to practice with relevant regulatory bodies
  • Minimum five years full-time post-graduate experience with three years full-time equivalent in hepatology
  • Post-graduate qualification (minimum Graduate Diploma/Certificate level) or evidence of working towards Master's level qualification
  • Clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across various mediums
