Job Opportunity in Hepatology Nursing

The Hepatology Service seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and lead a team of nursing professionals. Key responsibilities include assessing and managing patients with hepatitis infection, advanced liver disease, and other hepatology-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting optimal health outcomes
  • Clinical supervision of nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Minimum five years postgraduate experience in Hepatology, with a strong track record of leadership and collaboration
  • Postgraduate qualification or evidence of working towards Masters level qualification
  • Proven clinical leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Nursing or a related field, demonstrating expertise in hepatology nursing
  • Experience in healthcare management or leadership, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety

Immunization and screening are required for this position. The successful candidate will be required to complete an undertaking/declaration form and TB assessment tool during the recruitment process.
