Job Title: Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled communications professional to join our team as a Communications Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality media and public relations activities that raise the University's profile across local, national, and international media.

  1. You will develop engaging internal communications that celebrate the achievements of our staff and students, promote key university initiatives, and highlight events across ECU's campuses.
  2. Assist in planning and producing content for a range of internal platforms, including the development of our staff newsletter.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field with extensive experience or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
  • Experience working in a media liaison or communications role, preferably in a large organization.
  • The ability to deliver media communications to target audiences across a range of channels.
  • Experience planning, writing, and producing content for electronic newsletters.
