The role of Support Worker is instrumental in assisting clients to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. This involves providing personal care, accompanying clients on outings, and supporting them in learning new skills.

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in areas such as manual handling, first aid, and disability awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to clients to enable them to live independently">
  • Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming">
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities, promoting social inclusion and community participation">
  • Support clients in developing new skills and interests">
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve client outcomes">

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Individual Support or Disability (preferred)">
  • Manual Handling and First Aid certification">
  • Experience working with people with disabilities (required)">
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders">
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances">
