Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to lead a team in delivering expert planning advice and innovative frameworks for precinct-based development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-creating urban environments that align with the city's Community Strategic Plan. They will work closely with the Strategic & Place Planning Manager to shape high-quality built and open space environments.

The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery of urban design, land use policy, and place-based planning. The team member will have rotational opportunities across equivalent management roles within the service unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and delivering projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in urban design, land use policy, and place-based planning.
  • Knowledge of local government policies and regulations.
