This is a permanent part-time position for a skilled nurse in the general surgery department at a reputable hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care during surgical procedures
  • Provide preoperative, postoperative, and ongoing care, including patient assessments, wound management, medication administration, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Essential Requirements
  • Current registration to practice as a registered nurse (division 1) with the relevant authority
  • Proven experience and clinical skills as a registered nurse, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered nurse
  • Ability to provide person-centered, family-inclusive, and culturally sensitive care
  • Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster, including day, evening, and night shifts across all days of the week
