Job Opportunity: Welder and Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder and fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication trade, excellent communication and organisational skills, and previous experience in a similar role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities according to plan, providing accurate information to update the maintenance information system, and following all required reports correctly. They will also need to monitor the environment and report to the Line Manager on an ongoing basis regarding status of plant and equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fabrication Trade Certificate
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of welding procedures
  • Ability to fabricate, service, diagnose and repair Machinery and Fixed Plant equipment
  • Excellent communications and organisational skills
  • Previous FIFO or mine site experience
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • White card
