Senior Lawyer Job Opportunity

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled lawyer to provide strategic advice on property, construction, and finance matters.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality legal advice on complex matters to support housing and service delivery projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for property, construction, development, and finance agreements.
  • Manage legal risks, compliance obligations, and governance requirements for social and affordable housing projects.
  • Engage external legal advisors and oversee their work.
  • Identify and manage legal risks and conflicts of interest.
  • Prepare clear and concise advice for Board and Committee papers.
  • Partner with internal teams on property transactions, acquisitions, disposals, procurement processes, and financing activities.
Requirements
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Highly experienced lawyer with expertise in property, construction, and finance law.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and manage complex legal matters.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience working with external legal advisors.
  • Familiarity with legal documentation and contracts.
