About the Role
We are seeking a
Property Law Specialist
to join our team at LexisNexis.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Australia, preferably within one of these locations (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth) but with the opportunity to work flexibly and/or remotely.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the practical processes relevant to property law transactions and advice, including sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing and general property law.
This is an excellent opportunity for lawyers looking to transition from practice into a content-focused legal career while staying at the forefront of property law developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain practically-focused up-to-date content and resources for our popular Practical Guidance product.
Monitor legal developments and changes in current practice.
Support senior legal writers with managing external author relationships and reviewing externally prepared content for accuracy and suitability.
Provide support to relationship managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with:
A minimum of 3 years PQE as an Australian qualified lawyer.
Recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm, in-house counsel or Government role.
A background in transactional and advisory work in property law.
