Job Description

We are seeking an expert contracts professional to join our team. As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the Wedgetail In-Service Support (WISS) Contract with the Department of Defence.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive commercial support to the E-7 Programs business unit, including drafting, negotiating, and managing contract artefacts, supporting scope growth opportunities, and managing both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on customer objectives and expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial contracting and/or complex procurement subcontracting is required, with experience managing contracts delivering technical services and capability within a project environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of fundamental contracting principles and the application of appropriate techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for thriving in a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Business/Commerce) from a recognised institution highly desirable.
