Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join our team in Canberra, ACT. As a key member of our ecology team, you will be responsible for leading ecological initiatives, providing technical expertise, and contributing to the growth and success of our consultancy firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead ecological assessments, habitat surveys, and impact analyses
  • Develop and implement ecological initiatives and strategies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Cultivate client relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the growth strategy for the ecology workstream in ACT
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Principal Ecologist and 5+ years as a Senior Ecologist
  • Degree qualified in ecology, environmental science, zoology, botany, or a related discipline
  • BAM accredited assessor or with extensive experience in BAM and/or other biometric data capture and analysis
  • Proven track record of leading ecological assessments, habitat surveys, and impact analyses
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and environmental policies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
