A career as an Assistant Director offers a unique blend of leadership and operational responsibilities.

The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to deliver exceptional service and quality to children, staff, and families.

This full-time position is based at our Camberwell campus, a 136-place centre with generous space over two levels and large outdoor environments for each age group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • SUPPORTING THE DELIVERY OF OPERATIONAL SERVICE AND QUALITY
  • LEADING DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS, ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH QUALITY FRAMEWORKS AND WORK HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
  • FACILITATING EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION BETWEEN CAMPUS TEAMS AND FAMILIES
  • SUPPORTING TEAMS ON THE FLOOR AS REQUIRED

Requirements include:

  • DIPLOMA OR BACHELOR LEVEL QUALIFICATION (ACECQA APPROVED)
  • CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDING WWCC, CHILD PROTECTION, FIRST AID, AND COVID-19
  • STRONG BUSINESS ACUMEN AND UNDERSTANDING OF CHILDCARE SERVICE OPERATIONS
  • ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE AND CONNECT WITH FAMILIES, CHILDREN, AND STAFF
  • UNDERSTANDING OF NATIONAL QUALITY FRAMEWORK (NQF), EARLY YEARS LEARNING FRAMEWORK (EYLF), AND REGULATIONS
